Demo Reel

Solo videography for people who need something real, not a production crew. Single camera work — planned, shot, and edited by one person who understands both the technical and the visual.

What I Shoot

I work as a single camera operator — one person, minimal gear, no circus. This keeps things flexible, affordable, and unobtrusive. It also means I can work in spaces and situations where a full crew simply wouldn't fit.

Most of my video work falls into a few areas:

YouTube & Online Content

Clean, well-lit video for channels and creators who want to look professional without overthinking it. Whether it's a regular series or a one-off piece, I handle the camera and lighting so you can focus on what you're saying.

Promotional Videos

Short-form video for websites, social media, or campaigns. The kind of thing that shows what a place or product actually feels like — not a glossy advert, but something honest that people connect with. Works well alongside my commercial photography.

Events

Highlight reels, recap videos, and candid coverage. One camera in the right place at the right time. I've covered music events and community gatherings across South Wales — the approach is the same whether it's a festival stage or a village hall.

Documentary

Longer-form work that tells a story. Observational, patient, and structured around the subject rather than a script. This is where the single-operator approach really shines — it's just a conversation with a camera, not an interview with a crew watching.

Formats & Delivery

Most work is shot on a Panasonic Lumix S5IIX in 4K at 25p, or 6K at 25p when the project needs flexibility — the extra resolution makes it easy to crop and reframe for both long-form and short-form content from a single shoot.

All recordings are delivered as LOG footage, giving you or your editor full control over colour grading. Various output formats are possible depending on your workflow.

Slow Motion & High Resolution

For projects that need slow motion or super high resolution output, I shoot on a Nikon Z9 — 4K up to 100p or 8K up to 50p, recorded in NRAW for maximum editing flexibility. This is ideal for hero shots, product reveals, or anywhere you want that cinematic slow-motion look.

NRAW files are large, so additional storage considerations apply for these shoots — something we can discuss when planning the project.

All video work is shot on digital with a focus on natural light and real environments. No stock footage, no templates, no filler.
